Welcome to PORCH Briar Chapel!
BC PORCH is an all-volunteer, grassroots hunger relief organization. We collect food and cash donations through monthly neighborhood food drives and deliver the contributions to the CORA FOOD PANTRY, which provides emergency food to individuals and families in Chatham County, NC.
Our next PORCH Pickup is Friday, !!
How PORCH Works
PORCH is built around the very simple idea of a neighborhood food drive. PORCH Briar Chapel collects food monthly for the Chatham Outreach Alliance (CORA) in Pittsboro.
Here’s how it works:
- On pickup day (3rd Friday each month), place a food donation on your porch by 9:00 am.
- A neighbor will come by to pick it up.
- Our PORCH drivers will drive the donations to CORA for you! It’s that easy!
